Jazz Festival—An Evening at The Wharf

The Institute’s 30th annual annual jazz festival spotlights professional artists with stellar performances that light up the outdoor stage. This year featuring one of the jazz world’s hottest rising stars, Benny Benack III on trumpet and vocals, guitarist Paul Bollenback, bass player Alexander Claffy and drummer Byron Landham.  The event has a new time and new location for its 30th anniversary—The Wharf is a rural property just outside of Waynesboro, Pa. with a barn and lush green areas for sitting. Pack a picnic with your choice of beverage…or grab dinner from the food truck. Bring chairs or a blanket. The concert is followed by an informal question and answer period.
