About Us

Smart Paws Academy, LLC offers personalized, in-home dog training for families in south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. We help dogs and their people build calmer, more workable routines using force-free, relationship-centered training.

All services are private and fully customized to the individual dog, household, and real-life challenges. We work with puppies, adolescent dogs, and adults on skills such as manners, leash walking, confidence building, and behavior concerns including fear and reactivity.

By training in the home and community, Smart Paws Academy helps skills transfer into everyday life—where they matter most. Our goal is steady progress built on understanding, trust, and practical guidance that supports both ends of the leash.
